No longer available new, you find them used often. I liked the powered JBL Eon 15 for that use - the version had a 3 channel mixer built in. I've also used a Bose tower for vocals with the band, when they've had one at a venue, and I thought they sounded great as a vocals only PA (but they're expensive, too). And the price leaves you cash for small mixer, so you can plug-in your two vocal mics. You can get a 310a for about $400 in the U.S. I have a pair of RCF 310a's and a single 312a, and as much as I love my ProLT (especially for the tone it gives my guitar), there's no question that for vocals the RCF's do better (even just one 310a sounds terrific for vocals in the context of my semi-acoustic band-accordion, acoustic and electric guitars, clarinet, upright bass and percussion-in small venues).

Look at the RCF 310a or 312a or an EV ZXA1 or ELX112p or a one of the QSC K series speakers or Yamaha DXR or JBL PRX or a Yorkville NX25p, etc., etc. A decent powered speaker up on a stick is going to give you a better vocal sound than you're going to get even with an expensive acoustic guitar amp. Many powered speakers will take a mic input, and some have onboard mixers, so you might be able to plug both mics in directly, although if you go for the small mixer, that wouldn't be necessary. On the other hand, since you're not going to play your guitar through this unit, you might be better off with a good powered speaker and either a small mixer with effects or something like a TC Electronics Mic Mechanic for some vocal effects if you use vocal effects. It takes two mic inputs, has decent onboard effects, is pole-mountable, which will be a big help with dispersing your vocal sound, and it only weighs 26.5 pounds. The 150LT has a 12' speaker and a good tweeter.

Look into the 150LT, if the SA and the Pro are too expensive. I fell in love with the guitar sound I got from the ProLT, so that was the one I got. When I was shopping around for acoustic guitar amps, vocals were important to me, and the amps that sounded best for me for vocals were the Genz Benz 150LT and ProLT and the Fishman SoloAmp. I am looking forward to read your opinions, suggestions and advice. I am wishing that I won't have to fork the $1K+ for something like the Fishman SA220 Solo, but I'll do it if cheaper solutions just can't work out. I also thought about the new Phil Jones CUB II AG-150 but it only has one XLR input. I thought about the Fishman Loudbox Artist (it has two XLR inputs), but I don't know if it would do the job.

It would be strictly for vocals - and only when there is no PA. I wouldn't play my guitar through that amp as I am using a custom made tube amp (Deluxe type, voiced for jazz) or an Henriksen JazzAmp 12. Other players may join sometimes like a saxophone or clarinet, or an amplified mandolin or guitar. The core setting would be a swing/jazz duo with two vocalists, one of them (me) playing electric guitar and the other one playing acoustic snare (and perhaps a hi-hat). (Most venues do provide a PA system.) Besides size / space, weight and price are a consideration. I know that I could buy a small PA system, but I don't want to have to store larger equipment that I would only use occasionally. I would use it only when a venue does not have a PA system. I am looking for an amp that could do relatively well for vocals. First, I know that amplifiers are not fantastic for vocals but here is my question / problem anyway.
